I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning.. my conversation with Mitch went a little something like this:

"What's wrong babe?" 

(Meaning.. why did you get back in bed at almost noon)

"Oh nothing, I'm just struggling with my motivation to get things done today."

"What do you have to do?"

"Laundry, the dishes and the rest of the kitchen, the bathroom, that project..."

"Who says you have to do all that? Just do what YOU want today!"

Isn't he the cutest? Of course all I want to do all day is what I want to do, little does he know I feel like a bad wife when I'm home all day on a day off and don't do anything productive besides gestate. So I put on Pandora holiday station and decided to do some of both. 

I found a little girls headband tutorial on Pinterest (looooove pinterest) that lo and behold, I actually had all of the necessities for! So, I made a felt flower headband for our little girl. I also covered a picture frame with fabric that will go in baby's room. I ALSO finished a present (that I will not picture here..for obvious reasons) that I had been putting off for about a year now.

 I just have to get the elastic to attach it to. And you can't tell so much, but the flowers are glittery :)

And can I just blog about the cutest little boy ever?! I was at Michael's, searching for some silver glitter spray. It appeared as though they had run out of the cheapest kind and I would have to buy the more expensive one. $2 is a big deal these days folks. So I made the worker get a ladder and look in the very back of the very top shelf just in case. Then this boy, about 7 years old, came up to me and said,

"Here's one! You can have this one!"

Of course it was the exact one I wanted! He must have been listening to me pester the worker. How sweet is he to go and find what I was talking about and bring it to me? He seriously made my whole day.

Thanks to my husband and sweet little boys who look out for me, I'm glad I got out of bed this morning.
