3 Months!

3 Months of life has done wonders for this little girl. Her colic is literally just gone. She only cries when she's tired (and not for very long or very intensely..it's like nothing compared to what we're used to) and when she's hungry. But, when she's hungry, she'll start out talking a LOT and then progressively get louder and more demanding. We can usually catch her while she's talking and get the food in before she gets too crazy, but sometimes it's just so fun listening to her talk we forget she's very politely asking us to feed her, and she ends up upset. She is so cute it's crazy.

Also this month, she started rolling over! Her first time was when she was 10 1/2 weeks and now she does it almost every time she's doing tummy time. I was so surprised, and by the look on her face she was too. We're working on her reaching out for toys, we can see her little mind reeling because she wants the toy, she just can't grab it yet. She usually takes a whack at it and that's as far as she gets. We have a little baby rubber duck that she LOVES and I think it'll be the first thing she'll attack.

• LOVES going outside, we've made it part of our routine to go outside and sit in the sun every morning stark naked (obviously since we don't have a private yard she's the only one showing bum), I think it's the happiest time of the day for her. Sunshine and naked bum.
• She went swimming with Ella and didn't mind the water one bit. Even when Ella was splashing that water up in her face, she took it like a champ. She's definitely a water baby, just like her dad.
• Like I said before, talks up a STORM, it's the greatest.
• Is so good at tummy time, I think she likes it better now that she can just roll over when she's over it.
• Is better at sleeping wherever and whenever she's tired. It makes us a more mobile family and that is so so so nice.
• Sleeps incredibly well at night. She'll fall asleep around 9 or 10 pm and will wake up around 7 or 8 am, feed, then go back to sleep until 9! Rarely does she do a middle of the night feeding.
• Still absolutely adores Aunt Sarah. There is ZERO fussing when she's in her arms. My sister must know of an on/off crying switch and won't tell me because it makes her look like the best aunt in the world. Or she's just that great.
• She's looking more and more like me, when I look at some of her pictures, it blows my mind.
• Does not take her eyes off me when I'm getting ready
• Loves to look at herself in the mirror, she'll look herself and up and down and smile at her outfit.
• Is fitting into her 0-3 month clothes, 3-6 months clothes are big on her. I love that she gets a whole new wardrobe to wear every few months. I think she does too.
• We certainly dress her up, but as you can tell from the videos, she's usually just in her diaper
