Life has been a little crazy the past few months, so I will be playing catch up the next few days since we just got internet again. Here it goes..
Tessa
missed Easter last year by about a week or so, so this was her first! Our
apartment complex threw an Easter celebration complete with food, prizes,
bounce houses, and the Easter bunny. It was so cute, and although I got more
pictures of Tessa frowning than smiling, we all had fun. She even won a prize!
A multi-colored bunny backpack! Tess wasn’t a fan of the Easter bunny and she
had more fun taking the eggs out of her basket than putting them in. But she
did learn how to color, and tasted cotton candy for the first time.
Easter
morning she went through her little basket, and wore the Easter dress Grandma
Gail got for her. It fit her perfectly. Her basket had: empty plastic eggs
(that’s right, they were empty. She was a happy camper anyway) A book - The
Tale of Peter Rabbit, a play outfit, bubbles, and ballet flats. We had a wonderful
Sunday, and for FHE we taught Tessa about the Resurrection, or tried. We are so
grateful for our Savior, and the knowledge our family has that He Lives!
Introductions to the bunny
it was too soon..
Coloring with dad
Love her face
Even this one
Her hair is getting lighter :)
Feeding mom cotton candy
Haha
Hiding eggs under her dress
This is a super long video, I won't be offended if you don't watch it.
But you will see a mother totally shove her kid into the mob of children to get some eggs. Seriously? Calm down mom.
YAY I LOVE the blog updates!!!!! I also love how mitch kept throwing eggs at you. hahah!
