10 month Tessa

Tessa turned 10 months old! Even though she's only days away from turning 11 months old, she hasn't yet, so technically I'm still not behind in updates. She's learned a LOT at 10 months:
  • She's a crawler! She started just after 9 months and is a serious pro.
  • She pulls herself up and walks along furniture
  • Refuses to eat bananas, I've tried so many times hoping she'd learn to love them, but without success
  • Cheese seems to be a favorite
  • She spits out her food now, some days she is so picky and I try several different foods before I find something she'll eat
  • She snuggles!!! Since Mitch left, she snuggles me now, and it is the GREATEST. THING. EVER. I love every second, and I will drop everything to just hold her close to me.
  • LOVES riding in shopping carts
  • She gives kisses on command, she'll even give hugs but only when she feels like it
  • Says "dada" when Mitch calls
  • Says "t-sssa"
  • Says "hi"
  • Claps all day long
  • Making messes has become a special interest of hers, the first few times I had to document it, because I thought it was so cute, and it makes her so happy to pull all the clothes out of drawers, and every dvd off the shelf, and every scrapbook supply out of the cart...etc etc
  • Her hair is long enough for a pony tail! I've been waiting for this day a long time
  • I don't even want to talk about nap time

Thanks to Sarah, I have become obsessed with scrapbooking, I think about it all the time, and how I will have my own craft room that will be my happy place. All I want to do is shop for scrapbook supplies on my favorite websites, and then scrapbook. I seriously love the wonderful world of creating cute pages.
Some MORE good news for us, Mitch's training was cut even shorter, so now he's done after just 6 weeks instead of 12, and we are SO READY to start fresh in Tennessee together. We decided that Tessa and I staying with family was definitely the best choice for a lot of reasons, but we're ready to be together again! And, my trip baby free to visit Mitch was AMAZING! It was cold, but I'm a big fan of Chicago, and their food, and their shopping, and their hotels...
